Astro Malaysia launch Asia's first PFA Fans' Player of the Month Award

MALAYSIA - Astro Malaysia, the official broadcaster of the English Premier League, has announced its partnership with the English Professional Footballers Association (PFA) and launched the first ever Fans' Player of the Month Award (FPOTMA) in Asia.

The Astro FPOTMA open to all Premier League fans to vote for their favourite player to be "Player of the Month" with a chance to win exclusive signed jersey from the player. In addition, two lucky winners will also get to watch a game and to attend the prestigious annual PFA Award in the UK where the PFA Player of the Year will be honoured.

"We are excited on this new partnership with the PFA which will give Malaysian fans a 360 viewing experience," said Lee Choong Khay, Astro's Vice President of Sports Business at the official launch of their Premier League broadcast and the "Live the Fantasy" campaign today together with special guest, Stan Collymore, former Liverpool and Aston Villa star.
