HONG KONG - With the players selection announcement by Gerardo Martino, Argentina National Team Manager, Hong Kong are eagerly waiting to see Leo Messi to lead his national team to play against the Hong Kong Representative Team.
Organised by the Hong Kong Football Association (HKFA) and promoted exclusively by ProEvents, the match Hong Kong vs Argentina will be held on October 14 at the Hong Kong Stadium. The match forms part of the HKFA's centenary celebration.
"We are excited to hear that Leo is selected in the squad coming to Asia in October," said Paul Kam, Chairman of ProEvents Group. "Leo has played 524 matches and scored 401 goals with 163 assists. There's only one Messi. Everyone wants to see Leo Messi.
"We worked with Leo way back in the World Cup 2010. We brokered a deal for him with Maxis, one of the leading telecommunication companies in Malaysia, and Astro, Malaysian Direct Broadcast Satellite Pay TV service provider, as their brand ambassador," explained Kam. "We arranged for both clients to produce and film the television commercials in Barcelona. Astro has subsequently won 2011 PromaxBDA Sports Media Marketing Awards."
