HONG KONG - More than two thirds of the 80,000 tickets available for this summer’s Barclays Asia Trophy have already been snapped up by football fans in what is a clear sign of the passion for the Barclays Premier League that exists in Hong Kong.
The Barclays Asia Trophy is the only Premier League affiliated competition to be held outside of England and the 2011 tournament will feature Chelsea, Aston Villa, Blackburn Rovers and Hong Kong First Division league champions Kitchee. All matches will take place in the 40,000 seater Hong Kong Stadium over two match days on Wednesday 27th and Saturday 30th July.
