ENGLAND - Luiz Felipe Scolari has spoken for the first time as Chelsea manager about the forthcoming Asian tour, and revealed it is a trip he is eagerly anticipating.
Speaking during an exclusive interview with Chelsea TV, Scolari discussed a range of issues before commenting on the tour to China, Malaysia and Russia.
With much speculation about players coming and going, Scolari was able to confirm that he will be retaining the overwhelming majority of his squad, and left the door open for additions
"This time is the time to transfer. Maybe we are in Asia and will receive some players, because now is the time for this," he said, with reference to the summer transfer window.
With rumours circulating about the futures of many Chelsea players, Scolari insisted: "We go to Asia I think with 95 to 99 per cent of the team."
